To connect an Arduino as an OPC server has been my dream for long time.
Your site has already helped me a lot, BLESSINGS.
But I run on an NodeMCU by LoLin, which is a tiny Arduino-like WiFi-card with an on-board ESP8266 wifi chip..
When I try to compile (any?) of your samples in the Arduino IDE, I get the following message:
WARNING: library SoftwareTools4Makers-OPC-f4af527 claims to run on [avr] architecture(s) and may be incompatible with your current board which runs on [esp8266] architecture(s).
xtensa-lx106-elf-gcc: error: libraries\Bridge\Bridge.a: No such file or directory
Do you know what is causing the problem?
I have indicated board type in Arduino IDE as “NodeMCA 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)”
This board is “pretty” Arduino-compatible, but does not have the same pin-out at all.
I can run an .ino that scans for available WiFi-servers, and even logon to my WiFi-router, and run the board as a webpage on its local IP-address.
Maybe there is a small work-around that could resolve the compiler error message.
I plan to go into your .cpp file to see if I can find a solution myself, even if it will take time.
Do you have any hints?
