    Hello ilde,

    I just wanted to take the time to personally thank you for your efforts. As you know, I tried to get the ethernetshield to work by myself, but since I am not very used to this kind of programming I could not do it. Thanks for working on the desired features requested by the community.

    I just tried out the OPCEthernet-Example with my Arduino Uno, using the IDE 1.5.7 and the Matrikon Explorer and it works perfectly.

    I’ll let you know how I progress with my project.

    Hello,
    Sorry for my late reply.

    At the moment I am trying to make your existing library work with the traditional Arduino Uno + Ethernet shield setup. However I am running into a lot of problems.
    However, I will keep you updated if I make any progress.

    My idea is, to simply replace the YunServer and YunClient with the existing EthernetServer and EthernetClient from the Ethernet library.
    Do you think this is a promising way to make it work?

    On the official Arduino Website it is stated, that the YunServer and YunClient are “modeled after the Ethernet Server class and EthernetClient class”.

    I just went to the OPC foundation website and searched for core components:
